Jacob's E-Portfolio

One of the projects that i think i am most proud of is the Wide World of Sports. This project was based on how newtons three laws relate to sports. There was videos on football, soccer, hockey, snowboarding, basketball, trick shots, archery, diving, and 360 dunks. So for newtons first law it states that  every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it, so when the bow is just on the floor this is why. Newtons second law states that mass times acceleration equals force, so the weight of the bow determines the amount of force needed to make the bow accelerate. Newtons third law states that an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force,  so when you shoot the bow it stays in motion until you hit the target, which is the outside force.

 

Reflection

This project i think i was just ready to get it done and get my grade up. For this project you were supposed to identify newtons three laws for each video, but then they said you only had to identify one law, but on most of them i identified three laws. This project i think i got 100/100 , correct me if i'm wrong. I liked this project because you were relying on yourself and if something were to go wrong you can only blame yourself. So this is why i think that this is my most successful project yet.
