To start this off adventure STEM's means science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  Being in adventure isn't your average middle school experience. In adventure there's a lot of group projects. They give out very little homework. Once you've been in adventure for a year or two or three or four you start to build a community we're you know a majority of the people.

In adventure the classrooms are sorta separated from the other school.  The way that they teach is different from a normal school. Instead of teaching you using the textbook they teach you more hands on. I middle school you average one field trip a year if that, and in adventure it is between one, two, or even three field trips a year. In adventure we have globaloria which is a computer programming class which you make games on adobe flash, and since normal middle schoolers were introduced later than us, were ahead of the game.

In all of our classes there are group projects. Weather it is relating to science, math, history, and language arts. It is all about working together, most of the projects that they give have so many extra days but in reality it takes a week max. In the group projects it isn't just cutting and folding papers, it is glueing and making thinkings that actually function, like building an aqueduct that had to uphold all of the water, then let it go when wanted. When we do the projects it isn't just have fun and build, their is a challenge to it, like only allowing you to use certain materials, or a time limit.

In adventure they give the least amount of homework. To prepare yourself for our future we have to write a two paragraph essay on blogger saying what we accomplished that week and saying what we learned. If you do happen to get homework it is because you didn't finish it in class. Because we don't get a lot of homework we do have a decent amount of projects. Some of the projects that we do we have a presentation day to educate the rest of the class on our topic.

In adventure it is about building a community. We have advisory every wednesday to meet different people from a different grade levels. Once you've been in adventure for more than a year you start to know all of the people in the different grade levels. In globaloria it is mixed grades,  this is good because when we have to make groups we can include different people and if they need help we can help them.
